Removing Muffler inserts on 1999 '33 AVS w 502's?
I've got the stock everything on my '33 w 502's with the Corsa Q&Q exhaust. The top exhaust has the flat "diverters" (excuse me as I'm a tax acct not a motor guy) with the nut in the middle. as well as the cone shaped ones at the end or the pipe AND the black rubber caps. I'm gearing up for a good year on the water and wondering if there is any benefit(sound or power) to taking out the "diverters". Or just leave alone?
Thanks

Everything is in place for the best protection from water entering exhaust. Run the boat with the thru-hull exhaust as it allows the motor to breath better. I wouldn't mess with the diverters. Gearing up for a good year - leave well enough alone. Ice them beers down and get on the water.
