38KV Miami Vice edition top deck paint.....Teal or Grey
Finally getting around to doing a repaint on my top deck (currently white) time and money $$ was never aligned but now the stars are in my favor.
Victory Marine in Kemah Texas is going to do the re-work.
I can go back to original "TEAL-AQUA BLUE" but some Vice Scarab's came with a dark grey color and I kinda want to do that with black trim stripes.
Anyone have some Vice Scarab pictures with the GREY Deck? I know all about the Facebook Page since I helped started that, but we have only a few
Scarab pictures with the Grey deck.
Of course I could just go with the Aqua/Teal color and be done with it....but why not choose the lessor of the more common deck colors?

I have always planned to redo the top deck back to Teal (original) after seeing a few grey/silver from years past (none seem to survived or were repainted) I am leaning towards grey/silver.

Looks like she ("Jet Lag") is going back to the Teal/Aqua deck as she was delivered from Wellcraft in 1987. I decided the Vice colors on the side will stay so might as well go all the way back to Miami Vice colors.
Bought the boat in 2007 and have had a blast with her.
Victory Marine in Dickinson Texas (south of Houston on Galveston Bay) will be doing the work. "Lil" Bill runs a great shop and had already completed a very nice resto on a 86' 38KV. I am going to add a new rub rail, some dash work, outdrive refresh, oil change, filters etc.....

I will post pictures of the progress.
