Interesting, the shape almost looks like an S Type.. I definitely wouldnt call it a Raider only because I've seen enough of those to know the hull profile.. Is that 30'ish?

Wow! Doesnt look like it at all to me judging by the people.. Maybe the height of the fairing changes the perspective for me... So what was that hull called or was it custom enough to not warrent a designation?

Dan will have to give you the definite answer but I don't believe any of the LS boats have model names and they were all basically 1 off, built to order.

Hello R @ B the 34 that you are looking at if is has an SQE hull number it was built here in SO. CAL. Larry built a few 34s they were not called raiders they were just 34 Scarabs according to my list of HIN numbers there were 5 34s built between 84 and 87. If you get me the HIN I can tell you who the boat was built for and how it was built. Regards Dan

See, that's why you wait for Dan to answer Scarab questions.

Not an outboard, but a cool 34 Larry Smith.

Agreed... +1 for race hatches making almost any boat look great!
I think it also needs to be said classic gelcoat/paint desings are hands down more attractive than anything produced today..
