Interesting.... it definitely has "377 Scarab" on the storage box to the left of the helm/gauges paperwork says its 87 .

Not the greatest picture but a start

If its an 87 then it is a standard 38 Scarab flat deck. Wellcraft used different notations throughout the 80's i think. My 90's 38 Thunder has the prefix CAL in the HIN number and no one seems to know what it means lol. I;ve got a nice flat hatch for your boat as well as molds to make the KV race style hatch.

When i first saw it i was pretty sure its a flat deck I would be very interested in a KV style Dave, Thanks for all your help everyone

Im starting to do some designs for the boats artwork/paintjob.. does anyone have a side profile line drawing (and if possible an over head view) of a 38 with an arch that i can copy and print to use for design please??

Hi, I know this is an old thread but I just bought a 1983 377 and was wondering how the project was going and if you had any pictures. I'm just starting to do some updates on mine with a lot of work ahead of me.

correct me if i am wrong , as dave said the last year for 337 hull was 1982, also didnt the 377 have staggered motors, the one i looked at years ago had staggered engines.
