Few years ago there was one (87 I think) at RPM boat sales in NJ mostly white with basic bare cabin with a fountain arch on it
Was owned
was on an aluminum tri axle trailer that was sort of beat and owner took off the ball mount on front of trailer and had a HUGE Pintle ring welded on the front of the trailer since he pulled boat with a peterbuilt CDL class dump truck, he did not worry about the trailer having brakes so brakes were removed from trailer.
Was im sure not the one you are looking for but a great project boat that was in okay shape for 20 grand.
I Still wish I bought that and got a new myco for it to sit on.
Can only kick yourself in the ass so many times
This boat had twin 420's and I believe TRS drives

I know where there is a 95-96 Larry Smith 38 for sale.
Full stagger , 6 man bolster, 1000's , crashboxes, #6's on boxes and a stars and stripes paintjob. I think the boat has run 105.
This boat is flawless. I could be wrong but I think the price was around $160k on a trailer.

Bad habit is a sweet boat, very similar to the 38ft kv. It has been at a boat shop in St. Charles Mo. for awhile. The boat was missing a portion of its hull (the starboard side of the cockpit). It has since been repaired. It still features the same graphics. Unfortunatley it doesnt look as if the boat will be complete for this season, because it has been stripped of everything down to the bare hull. But it would be cool to see that scarab racing around the LOTO again.

With the amount of work CMC has and the speed they work at, I wouldn't count on seeing it next year either.
It is amazing they fixed it with that big hole in the side. I thought it would be scrapped.
