Scarab kevlar school boat...

This is a nice boat
Only thing that would cause concern to me is the carbed 502's and prochargers. This should be a low 90's ride for uner $70k for someone. I wonder what he's asking?

502 EFI's. No Carbs.
This boat is kept appx. 300 yards from mine. We have the same mechanic. You're welcome to call him directly:
Travis Brewer, Mars Marine - 281-326-6630
Both Bruce Bullock and Travis have become friends of mine over the years. 100% integrity folks. You should feel very comfortable buying this boat. I've run side-by-side and it leave me like I'm standing still. I run a solid 80 MPH. The sides do have some scratches. If you're traveling here to see it - I'd suggest asking for more photos of the boat. Mechanically - It's top of the line.

Is this Steves old boat? What is the overall condition of the hull etc? I plan on buying for a fun boat if the price is right. I am mainly interested in the kevlar hull/6 man bolster set up....I plan on having this boat and another big power ride but want to divide the time between the 2 boats...Of course the bigger one is on hold till my finances jump back.

You could call Travis or Bruce for the history. 105mph, are you sure you're thinking of the right boat? The lowest I ever saw Pier 45 was 80K - and that was selling it used back in 1999 or 2000; not sure which year it was. W/ the addition of blowers, I'd imagine they're asking a bit more.
The hull looks fine and boat has been well maintained. Just spoke w/ Travis (mechanic/owner of Mars Marine, who does the maintance on the boat-- see post #3). He mentioned they just rebuilt the motors to freshen them up. He's glad to take your questions: 281-326-6630.
