Sorry,I don't know that much about the Stype.

"I'm not real real familiar with the smaller boats"

Let's hope somebody who have that knowledge replies to you.

Good luck with your boat

Jonas.

Does your boat have windows in the cabin? I believe that year model was the Scarab 300, but I could be wrong.

Post some pics.

I do not have any pics yet boat is in storage we curently have 3" of snow with another 3-5 coming in tonight.

Yes the boat has two windows in the ceiling of the cabin. none on the sides. It has a decal on the side toward the rear of the boat that says scarab s type

The 330/Velvet drive/TRS package is probably the most reliable ever made. Just dont overheat the engines, or over rev them, change the oil regularly and at the end of the season, and they'll easily last more than 1000 hrs. Just change the gear lube on the drives at the end of the season, and be sure to grease all fittings several times a year. That includes the u joint.
Scarabs that age have a nast habit of rotting, stringers and transom. Be sure to keep it as dry in the bilge as possible especiall during off season storage.
Have fun.
