377 Drive heights from TRS to Bravo

We are rerigging an 84 377 and converting to XZ Bravos. Does anyone have an idea where we should put the drive heights at. The transom is going to be blank so I would like to think that if we raised the X dim, it should help make the boat go faster. I was also told that if you go too high, you can always space down, which makes sense as well. Thanks in advance for any help.
Cheers,

Andy
