Hey guys I just bought a 96 22 Scarab would you know any where to get a windshield for it? And Im 20 years old and having a very hard time with insurance, any suggestions on that would be great. Progressive wants like 1200 a year.
Hows it going, I can't tell you about the windshield. However, $1200 a year for someone your age is awesome. I checked progressive and many others, found progressive had the best deal going. My 29 scarab runs around 1200 a year with progressive. Hope this helps.
I Also Have A 96 22 Scarab And My Windshield Is Cracked By The Drive Side And I Have Had No Luck Finding One To Replace It. I You Do Find Out Any Info Please Post It.
My buddys dad works with that kind of plastic and if he can make anything that looks close to factory Ill let you know, thats the closest Ive came to getting a wind shield.
I had that same boat, the windshield is not functional anyway, if you can't find a way to match the winshield, maybe you can see if your friends dad can modify you some type or windscreen in another material??
i've got few years (i'm 24) but i bought my boght when i was 19 mayeb i was 18? its an older boat (87) but it has a 500hp engine and i pay andhave alwasy paid abotu $600 a year. Progressive will probably be one of the few that will insure you.

Hello, You might want to give "Marine Surplus" in
Sarasota Fl. a call, They are just down the street from
from Wellcraft and a few years ago had all the
old parts for Scarab Boats.
I have a old number in Bradenton of 758-3552, They
had a ton of parts stacked all over the place and
you almost had to walk around to find stuff.
I think the windshields were made by Taylor made,
they made most of the Wellcraft windshields.
Good Luck.
