Why would you replace the glass on a pachanga, they were strong as hell.

'86 P22 Winter Project

Reupholstering interior (again). I did this in '00, I still have the vinyl.
This time I will change the foam and go with closed cell.
Upholstery gets beaten with salt water from skiing.

Im also pulling the motor to clean up the block. Also getting salty from too much skiing. The boat was repowered in 00 as well. Its a shame to see all that rust, but hey... I used (abused) the hell out of it, and it still looks good.

Glass

I Think He Is Talking About Mine, Im Replacing The Entire Windshield With A Plexiglass Type. The Passenger Front Piece Was Broken And Replaced With Plexi When I Got It. I Am Trying To Update The Look Of The Boat And Want To Go With The Plexi To Make It Look More Like the nordic windows

OK that makes sense now, are you making a race fairing or just replacing the glass with plexiglass?

searay p22
i picked up a searay p22 from a neighbor a couple of monthes ago that had to move suddenly. Ive been watching this thing just sit in the driveway for the past 6 years just wrotting away. So i picked it up and its now decorating the front of my house , pulled the engine which was siezed popped the heads off and the cylinders were full of rust. so 4000 later i have a 454 6o over mild cam 10 to 1 comp. hopefully get about 410 to 420 hp out of it just enough to fry the stock alpha thats on it. but i will say it really is a nice looking well built boat and im looking forward to seeing what it can do. now if it will stop raing long enough to drop the motor back in.

I am going to try to change the freshwater impeller on my Alpha drive, you have to drop the lower end to do this. Does anyone have any tips for this, should i be trying to do this myself?
