Problem solved: took off coupler and motor...

Problem solved: took off coupler and motor sounded fine so replaced and put back in boat, test drive soon but no noise on water hose.

I have a domed piston 454 w/ new 502 heads- I don't know the size of the dome bc mechanic didn't tell me. Probly stock head gasket. Can I throw a 177 on it?

Decently seemed like aluminum mounts had slight bend, stringers look strong. I removed out drive first bc I was hoping that was noise, I then ran motor and noise is still there
