They replaced the ring and pin. From what I see with the mirror is the pin is moving but not the arm.

Makes sense but keep in mind on a river not a wide open lake. I always drop my speed before tucking the drive. If this is not the best way what is?? That's my main complaint about the boat I'm used...

Thanks for everybodys input!!! I'll do some more digging around and see what I can find in stainless so no rust and bright as hell!!! I think something is better than nothin in my situation im tired...
