Can anyone please give me some feedback on the GM Vortech Engine.
How do these compare to the Mercury Racing 500 / 525 efi engines.
How reliable / economical are they?

Boat will be kept in the South Coast of England when finished.
Still haven't finalised the final paint scheme - will depend on Sponsors.

At long last I am happy to say the purchase of the "Popeyes" Bubbledeck Cigarette has been completed.
Currently the boat is being fully restored / upgraded to compete in Marathon Racing - the boat...

Still looking guys for a couple of Diesels - current HP is around 750 - Speedmaster 3A's. Will have gear ratio figures later this week.

Now the real story begins!
The 39' Cigarette Bubbledeck, was collected by Bob Oetringer yesterday and is currently en-route to Ft. Myers where it will undergo restoration to full Historic Race Spec....

Possibly in the market for 2 Diesel Marine Engines to go into a 39' Cigarette. Cummings / Yanmah's? Just the Engines.
Looking at running with Speedmaster 3A's - not surface drives.

I have decided on the Bubbledeck against the Bertram. The Bertram has no drives, the top of the blocks...
