Does anyone know approximately how much a bravo one transom assembly with trim rams weighs.I need to ship one and I'm tying to figure what to charge for shipping.Thanks in advance..

Your stock merc 260 would be externally balanced,meaning the flywheel and harmonic balancer are balanced.If the short block you're looking at is internally balanced you'll have to have the fly wheel...

Fever,Its possible but I didn't have any problems withthe stock dist.This msd one is supposed to be a direct replacement but the area of the housing that lines up with the gallery has a much bigger...

I don't know who it was but he didn't want to listen to my question.He just kept saying "we don't make a distributor for the vortec engine".Until just a few months ago I was a body man at a chevy...

I called the msd tech line today and their response was that they don't make a distributor for the vortec 5.7.They didn't even want to hear about my situation.very nice customer service...

I just dropped the pan and changed the chain and gears but you may be right.That why I think a cam bearing may have spun.I worked with a guy who had a 80 something malibu with a pretty hot smallblock...

I used a priming tool but this motor has had oil pressure issues since the chain broke.after replacing the timing set the motor would not start,no fuel pressure.Computer won't energize fuel pump with...

I wouldn't bother with it. most reverse rotation motors were used in straight inboards not i/o's.In sterndrives the reversion is usually done in the drives.If you have alpha drives you need a special...

I thought about dropping the one hole down also but the mufflers are almost 8" in diameter,would of hit the gimble housing.I wish that would of worked,I'd probably be on the water now!I have to fix...
