I have 1997 Boss272 with captains call, my y-pipe had come loose and was leaking badly. Had to pull motor to fix. Stopped the leak? engine has 280 hrs on it.

See if you can get a Serial Number off that motor Pantera is putting in your boat. It might be a used motor. Run the Serial through Mercruiser and they will give you the background...
