Boat starts runs fine. Idle out of canal fine gets on plane runs great. Run along 3800 rpm perfect. As soon as I let off at all starts breaking up. Then continues the bog worse and worse. At idle...

Tach

As usual was a bad ground, tach not getting full 12v. All set I appreciate it. When you first look it’s intimidating but as you peel the onion it’s actually stupid simple wiring gauges.

Was told with the super stock coil not to run a ballast resistor. Motor runs excellent coil doesn’t seem to be getting hot
