Pretty easy to understand. Synthetic oil and my pressure would run 20 psi regular oil 40 psi. Can't say if the regular is better or worse for the engine, but sure would rather see 40 psi.

100 watts is probably no where near enough power. What is the RMS power requirements of the sub? That is only 50 watts per voice coil. I don't know of any JL sub that, that will be enough power.
