They should spin out. Never really heard of anyone spinnning them in on a Top Gun. No real gain in mph and poor handling at speed and around the docks. Mine spin out and 90 it’s on rails

it does take a bit of power to get a ZX moving...

it does take a bit of power to get a ZX moving anyway but a step bottom in any boat whether it be a Fountain, Donzi or Cigarette usually will be 4 to 5 mph faster. Plus the set up on a newer step...
