Ended up using Shieldsflex II. I wish I had used...

Ended up using Shieldsflex II. I wish I had used this years ago as its easy to work with. Added a shut off ball valve between the transom and strainer, and a drain down near the pump.

Oil filter question

My engine has a top of the mount oil filter, so it's mounted upside down.

I have used the Wix 51060 and Wix 51061 filters in the past with no issues.

The 51061 has an anti- drain back valve.

Yesterday, I noticed that my fuel feed line and fuel vent hoses are are little crimped where they run through the rear seat bulkhead so I am going to replace them.
