Another factor to consider in the price point is the side by side vs. staggered for the 496's vs. 525's. I've looked at many of these boats and don't think I've seen a staggered 496 boat.

Had a similar issue several years back. Drive got dumped in fwd at high rpms. Can you shift the drive at all? Mine welded the cone clutch to the shaft and was stuck in fwd but couldn't shift.

I'd be interested as well. I know there was a guy on the old Sunsation forum that ran an Imco extension box on one but I think it was an 2008 model and I think he had the x dim raised at the factory....
