I've got a 91 with 502 carbs and I am running 23 Mirage props and on GPS I am seeing 70-72 at WOT. I have never tried any other size props.

My 91 has 502 carbs and I think the hull handles it fine. A buddy of mine has 7.4s in his 98. The only difference I can tell is my props turn in and his out...causing a little difference in ride....

Make sure you get all the normal things checked out. The only draw back is that the dash is a little outdated. We have had really good luck with our 91 and really like it!

I know the 280 you are talking about in Alabama. It was a buddy of mine's and he traded it in on a 36 Outlaw. If you want to talk to him about it, I can give you the guys' number, just PM me.
