How thick are the sides of the props were the bushing slides into ? I am trying determine if I am better off boring the prop or turning down the bushing .

I am in the middle of converting my boat to arneson asd7 drives , so I am thinking about taking the props over to the machine shop and see about boring the end to accept the bushing and C clip .

I have no idea who manufactured them or how old...

I have no idea who manufactured them or how old they are , the info stamped on the hub is 174F 35 C5 They are a 4 blade with 1.875 id and no tapered that I can see ,tip to tip they are 16.875...

What on a #6 prop holds the nylon bushing in place to keep from sliding forward into the shaft bearing ?
