Really? I was thinking mid eighty's...... twin 800's is some decent power. What would be the limiting issues? Obviously no step or notch, but are they heavy, or poor hull design? Thanks guys,...

Recently picked up a 84 38 scarab. This is a straight v no notch no step hull, and is the raised deck variation. Boat has some 800's in it, with trs drives (for now) I know time bomb. Anyways...
