So, you guys are saying that saltwater corrosion, constricting the water flow probably led to problems with overheating, therefore, the previous owner took the thermostats out. And I should probably...

These are 420HP's with carbs and TRS setup.

Cool, no problem. I am the third owner and never got to meet the original owner. The boat orginated out of Phily. Just can't figure out the thermostat situation. Maybe it did over heat buy it...

The only reason I'm asking is because when I was winterizing my boat this winter, I took the thermostats covers off and discovered the previous owner took out the thermostats. Why would some body...
