I have mine set just inside the chines, or strakes, wutever ya call them things halfway up the v, I'll get ya a pic, but I have mine set pretty far in, I like the boat sitting higher on the trailer...

I'll get ya a pic of mine tonight, but its a different bunk setup, I have Aluminum bunks on my trailer, the transom is even with the end of the bunks, my trailer also dosent have the center guide...
