66ft/s is ~5600rpm
82.5ft/s (roughly what a nascar mill spins) is ~7000rpm

Well, you need to determine what average piston velocity you're willing to live with and build to that standard. Nascar and F1 engines, IIRC, both have similar piston speeds but note the RPM...
