This may be a stupid question but can someone explain the exhaust on the orange outerlimits. They turn down into the water. It it the obvious? Quiet at slow speeds? Less likely to have reversion?

There is fuel in Newburgh on the west side of the river just south of the Newburgh beacon bridge. I don't remember if they have anything better than 87 tho. That's about the 30ish mile mark
