One of the problems with the first Autolites, was that they didn't have an idle circuit so you had to keep the engines over 4000 RPM to even keep them running.

Actually they were a great idea... Great enough that Trans Am, Banned them in 1971 as did NHRA, NASCAR and most other sanctioing bodies. There still against the rules today! There wasn't any reason...

Didn't do a lit of optimization testing with the initial stuff. Doing drivability right now. Then back to the dyno to try some other things. The biggest things that were impressive...
