The Avalanche 1500s do have weak rear suspension...

The Avalanche 1500s do have weak rear suspension (coil springs). Remember, they are same EXACT truck as a 1500 Suburban, and yet they advertise putting a bike or a quad in the back of the AV.

Look for GT4 or GT5
GT4 = 3.73
GT5 = 4.10

Z71 is a 4x4 Z66 is 2WD 3.73 or 4.10 rear...

Z71 is a 4x4
Z66 is 2WD

3.73 or 4.10 rear end is most important factor

2500 Avalanche was discontinued in 2004 I believe.
There is no such thing as a Z71 2500 Avalanche.
