We are switching from the pintle hook to the ball because it is a tighter connection. There was too much "give and take" with the pintle which made for a bouncy ride. The manufacturer doesn't have...

Just to clarify the hitch was installed by Tuscany Conversions and it is welded to the frame but it is also bolted. I am assuming that a quality company like Tuscany knows what they're doing.

Our F-550's hitch is solid welded to the frame, so it will handle whatever the truck can tow.
