I have just enough talent to sand....wanting to purchase a new crib this year so paying for a paint job is not in my budget this year....but I can't stand teal...

I may just have the stripes...

97 model year. Is is possible to sand them down with out having to get the whole boat painted white? I want it to look good and not look half a$$ed. Or in certain light will you always be able to see...
