It was already on when I bought it. I don't know how long it was on prior, but the previous owner said he hadn't changed it either and he had put about 100 hrs on it. I'm not sure how much actual...

I've got 200+ hrs on my 525sc blower with a smaller pulley. Running about 7 lbs of boost. The do whine a lot, but I have not had any problems. I change the lube every 30 or so hrs.

You will need to crank the boost up as well to see any gains. I have heard that you can get 50-60hp by doing both.
