My advice is do some simple bolt on mods like a K&N Arrestor and some 496 take off exhaust. That and lab the prop. Anything else will make the boat harder to...

You're not going to add 5 mph without major mods....

You're not going to add 5 mph without major mods. You need to add about 75-100 hp to gain 5 mph. Figure $1000 per mph you want to gain.
