Depends what size his motor is,your going to be able to run more boost with the same injector pulse width at a given pressure on a 454 vs a 502 or 540. I ran stock injectors at 85% at just shy of 80...

14 psi for some short runs,8-10 on a regular basis back when I ran stock injectors. The key is getting enough fuel pressure to make the injector act big enough to keep up but not too much,I ran 75-80...
