If you have the option, go with larger combustion chambers than 119cc. According to SRP's chart, you will still be at 9.9 to 1 comp.

Is your engine a 540 with a 4.5 bore? Having a too small head gasket hanging in the combustion chamber is a nasty detonation cause. The 1037 is a gasket for a 454.

180 degrees is too hot. You should have a 142 degree thermostat and temp should stay close to that at all times. 10 to 1 compression is pretty high for the junk gas we get nowadays. Where did you get...
