I guess I should've said it was in the boat. It was also glued on with a ton of silicone.

You're able to loosen all of the oil pan bolts on a boat motor in the boat?!! I must be getting old or something. Not as flexible as I used to be.:cool:

Anyone change a gen 5 cam?

When I took the timing cover off, the oil pan gasket stuck to the cover and tore. It has a 1 piece oil pan gasket that goes all around. Is there an easy fix for this? No one shows a separate gasket...
