I'd ditch the captains choice. Extend tails all the way thru the transom, full dry. Then install mufflers or down turns if its too loud for you.

How about taking the rubber coupling off, and then disconnecting the bypass hoses (from manifold to riser), and running them to a bucket or sewer. Basically, taking water out of the risers. Run it...
