It was the exact opposite for this boat. The first one they had built had a pod and it was impossible to keep in the water. Second one w/o it was 10x better

Only one built with no center pod. I think its an 80s boat. Built as a race boat. raced as Eliminator with Johnsons then Performance marine with merc 200s. Pics and info would be appreciated. Thanks,...
