Many thanks for that, but I've just discovered the motor is a Gen 6, with roller lifters. The Merc cam #431-850478 is for an MPI motor, but this one is on a Holley. Any idea what the GM part # would...

Anyone know, or able to cross reference the std cam in a Mercruiser 502 Mag, around 92-93. I know if I buy one from Merc it'll probably turn up in a Crane box.
