you can run the crane with the MSD dist, but with crane not in business right now and issues with MSD pickup in the dist failing I would not....we switched out top sportsman race car to crane last...

if you are running a dist that requires a box...

if you are running a dist that requires a box hard to dia, call msd, if you are runnng a stand alone dist unhook the box...but the bottom line is as I always say MSD = MAY SOON DIE refuse to run...
