Mine did not. The exhaust valves and exhaust ports where set up higher on my Merlin Heads than a stock GM head. I had to use tall valve covers to clear the rockers. This was a gen 6 setup if that...

Stock valve covers will not fit on the cast iron merlin heads. I went though this a couple of years ago.
