Longevity definitely....and availability is close...

Longevity definitely....and availability is close to me.....when you pull an injector and see what gummed up garbage runs through them with ethanol gas yea, I'll definitely tune for Av

Carbureted or efi's?.....did you have to run...

Carbureted or efi's?.....did you have to run slightly larger jets in the carb?......my injectors would need a slightly longer pulse width for Av gas

I reached out AS&M and they said first if I could...

I reached out AS&M and they said first if I could get the #'s on the injectors for identification and start from there and proceed with a tune...

I know Av gas is made differently then auto gas...

I know Av gas is made differently then auto gas (formulated for longer shelf life ~ airplanes do sit for extended periods ~ and have to withstand higher altitudes & extreme temperatures) something...

So I've had pump gas go bad in my boat even with the added gas treatment for long stored periods so I like the longevity of Av fuel. but that's not my main reason for asking or wanting to use Av gas....

I know it's a 13 year old thread , but many say...

I know it's a 13 year old thread , but many say AV gas will burn valves and melt pistons in boat engines ....in fact I've run it in my boat (572 cu in engines w/AS&M Efi's )
and reading the O2...
