last year i put a holley 4 bbl carb and a new mechanical fuel pump on a friend,s 350 sbc in his car,thing ran like chit,blubbering fuel and black smoke,everything in the carb was good so i installed...

is sounds like the fuel pressure might have...

is sounds like the fuel pressure might have gotten to high,does the engine have an electric fuel pump?
