That's what I thought as well. No one has responded with any major problems,so I guess no news is good news. I may try the Mercury blog,and see what the expected hours and cost for rebuilds would be....

Who's got some substantial hours on Merc 1100's?

Really interested in the Merc 1100's ,but can't seem to find how many hours are expected before breaking them open.
I have read where they have the longevity of 525's,but what will they need? ...
