Looked like a great time. That is one beautiful lake. I have been there many times and have always left saying wow.

A "Race Demonstration" is the only way to run fast loud boats on Lake George. I agree that Lake George is a nice place to visit and go camping but it's not very performance boat friendly. I assume the Race Demo is an attempt to change some peoples minds.

As long as the Lake George Park Commission Exists the laws will remain the same. Sad but VERY true.

We live 25 minutes from LG and stay away during the summer. However we do frequent the resturants in the Off Season.

And yes it is a beautiful lake.

I thought I was missing some and just as I was backing up all the images up on my external hard drive I came across these others which includes the real close call we had with the weather prior to the event...

Another reason why for this event is to get people to come to Lake George in their off season.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn and they were calling in as much help as they could the weekend of the Queens Great Boating Weekend.
They were not expecting to be so busy prior to Memorial Day.

With that experience, I guess the event is working !
