I saw her for sale last year up at a poker run in boyne city, Mich.,it's a sweet looking boat. If I had to guess it maybe owned by one of the Winn brothers from 4 Winns boat company, one of them if not a couple of them have an amazing older boat collection. I didn't hear her run, but it looked awsome.

That is incredibly sick (and expensive). I like the way they took the airplane theme and applied it to the boat......Airplane style gauges....brushed aluminum panels.....tabs labeled as "flaps"......mustang on the steering wheel (ferrari wheel? not sure what kind of horse the Ferrari logo is?)....Wonder what kind of splitter they used in the driveline? Cant see much from the pics.

sure is expensive but a lot of coin went into it. to start with, i can't imagine that an allison V12 in top shape is cheap. then you have the splitter box which is almost certainly custom made. then you have twin arnesons. then you have the detailing which is incredible as well...

what kind of horse is the ferrari one? a prancing horse they say...

Damn, that thing is cool as hell. A lot of thought went into that rig.
The engine alone, is totally impressive. That Allison aeropower V1710 is capable of 2,250 hp at 3,200 RPM.

Turns out the Ferrari logo does have an avation history:

All racing fans are very familiar with the famous Ferrari "prancing horse" symbol. The famous symbol of Ferrari is a black prancing horse on yellow background, usually with the letters S F for Scuderia Ferrari. Cool looking boat.
The allison is an awsome looking engine. It appears that it was converted to fuel injection. I don't recall injector rails and lines like that in photos of other Allison's I've seen. Back in the war years they were all carburated. I believe the Diamler-Benz engines in the Me109 was about the only fuel injected aircraft engine.

BTW the model "V1710" on the valve covers is also the engine displacement. 1710 cubic inch.

I found that I may be mistaken about the fuel injection.
Seems the Allison engines used a speed density injection system. May be similar to the Rochester system on the old Corvettes.
