Myco "Pull It In Style"
Back from Florida
The wife and I had a very nice trip to Florida to pick up the new Myco trailer.
I'm glad to be back home and glad to have our baby on a trailer and ready to roll.
The folks at Myco could not have been nicer. We got a complete plant tour and met many of the folks we have talked with on the phone. I was very surprised that they knew about all three of our Myco's and they also knew about all the positive comments I have posted on many of the sites and they really made us feel special.
They had over 15 trailers under construction and about 12 completed and ready to roll including a VERY "CUSTOM" tilt trailer for a race boat. Can you say $$$$.
Here is the wife giving ours her personal inspection. I could not get her to stop saying "It's SO shiny". She said it about six times and I had to remind her that our last two were also very shiny they were just seasoned!
Here are a few photos.

Bill and Tim at Myco were super to deal with and had our new trailer ready in just under five weeks.
We stayed with the aluminum construction that has served us well in the last two Myco's and went with two spares, torsion axles, disc brakes on all three axles and electric over hydraulic brakes. I also added a drive guard that I hope we never need, but hope it will save the boat if we ever get rear ended by someone on their cell phone not paying attention!

Myco has been in business for 30 years and has 29 employees, most of which have been with them a long time. I think this speaks volumes about the company. They are first class in customer service in my book.
The steel and aluminum enter the building through one side.

In between you have two assemble lines with precision jigs and professional welders building what I refer to as a work of art. Have you ever noticed the weld beads they lay on that metal. The wife says it looks like icing on a cake.
They also have a state of the art paint booth for those pretty finishes on the steel trailers.

It was pretty awesome to see all the photos on their walls of older race boats sitting on Myco's from years back.
This is one really SWEET custom tilt trailer for a race boat.
