In its early life, this boat was shipped over seas to a race, in a container that measured 39' inside. Approximately 3' or more of the nose was cut off to allow it to fit inside the container for shipping. Unless this has been covered over, you can crawl to the nose of this boat, through all the race bulkheads & see evidence of the glasswork where the nose was glassed back on. This boat is also so light weight, that you can lift the entire boat, off the trailer, from the front, by yourself, easily. When Tom Gentry & Bobby Moore originally set the boat up with the Gentry engines & # 6 drives, with all their experience, they could not safely push the boat any faster than 115, simply due to its extreme light weight, even though they had the power to go much, much faster. At one time, in the mid 90's, this boat was available for $8,000.00, on the trailer.

looked at it back in 2002 down in ft lauderdale, when it was completely rigged with drives and big power, it was a neat boat, back then with motors and drives they were asking 125,000 like all those older boats with 6's and big power the drive train is what has value.

Although raceconfig boats appeal me always this oneīs a crapper then...and the 8000 seems like the only reasonably price even today...
But who made the hull, the bottoms seems kinda strange... has a step but not big enough etc..?

Its been a number of years & the details are a blur, but the fact remains, that the nose was removed & then replaced. I have been inside to the forward crash bulkhead to see it, and I will say, they did an excellent job with the glass work.
