Default LEVERAGE's Old Houseboat Project

I thought we would do a picture book of an older boat we just finished today. The is an older Sumerset that was in bad shape. It's been sitting in the sun for most of it's life, so we needed to bring the colors back to life.

I started with pressure washing to remove all of the dirt and grime then we began.

Our products on hand:

Leverage Oxidation Remover, Metal Serum & Polish
Lots of Terry Cloth towels
6 Pack of Scotchbrite NON Scratch Pads
Lots of ENERGY for the job ahead

After pressure washing we came back the next day and started with the Oxidation Remover by hand. We work each color/stripe seperately, so they don't bleed onto each other. We also used the Metal Serum for the front deck bell and then followed up with Polish on everything. The Oxidation Remover will leave a nice shine, but you need the Polish for the extra shine, protection and longevity.

I will start with the finished boat and then post some pics of the progress and what it took. Enjoy and let me know if you need anything.

Donnie

Port Side

I used the Oxidation Remover on the small Black section between the front window. The glare is kind of hard too see, but if you look close you can see the shine from the first Black section.

Finishing up on the rear.

I always leave one section untouched, so the customer can remember the difference.
