Default Air show Sunday

We are going down to Galveston to Offats Bayou to watch the air show Sunday around 11-12 am. Anyone else going?

We have our boat at Endeavour Marina on Clear Lake. So far we have a couple of boats going. We will raft up at Offats Bayou at the end of the runway by Moody Gardens in the deeper water. It gets shallow directly at the end of the runway. It all depends on the weather, it looks a little sketchy.

Keep an eye on the rain. It's now up to 60% for Sunday.

If the weather holds we will try to come out and launch some where in Galveston. I don't really know my way around down there so i will have to take it slow.

If I can get rid of this cold I have,, I will be out there, I know the channels pretty well, and I live right across from moody gardens, so give me a call, and I will take the new (to me) cruiser out, I got 45mph out of her yesterday after I cleaned the bottom.

If you clean up your bottom, you might get rid of that "cold" you have , lol

Call me if you want to hook up. The way to get into the bayou is a little tricky. After you go thru Galveston Harbor under 45, stay to the left and follow the channel markers, stay in the channel, go to the point and stay tight to it and hook around it, when you get into the bayou across from Moody Gardens stay to the left tight to the docks in the channel until it opens up by Moody Gardens. There are a lot of shallow areas in there until Moody Gardens. Airport is right next to Moody Gardens. It is well marked.
